Spring arrives in April with the lovely blossoms of the Red Bud and Dogwood trees. It is a favorite time for our guests to go for a walk through the woods behind the Lodge.

Before Memorial Day and continuing through Labor Day, Dale Hollow Lake is a favorite playground for those who love the water. Houseboats and personal watercrafts are in full evidence as vacationers enjoy beautiful Mitchell Creek.

As late September ushers in its crisp mornings and perfect campfire nights, the Fall Season begins. One day in late October you will step out on the deck of the Lodge and catch your breath at the beauty that surrounds you--the blue haze rises in the mountains which, seemingly over night, have been transformed to the most brilliant reds and golds imaginable.

As the weeks lead into the Winter Season, the trees shed their leaves providing you with an awesome view of the lay-of-the-land. Now you can see the beautiful bluffs and rock formations of the hills. Mitchell Creek, almost an emerald green, can now be seen from the deck of the Lodge. Soon, you may be treated to a scene of very large fluffy snowflakes which create a winter wonderland outside your window. In a few hours, the snow will likely melt away leaving the roads clear for travel.
